About changing the depth of field because if it's too short than you can't get the pattern or too big you can't pick up the texture.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
About having a focal pint, it's hard because it's a constant pattern so where do you start it. I wanna learn more about it so my photos can be more interesting.

I didn't understand on how you are supposed to get the right exposure rom your texture photos.
The tips I found useful and that I will try are to use auto focus and shoot at the right distance and angle.

You need to know the area that you are going to take pictures of. You need to explore and notice the little things because they can make all the difference. I will use the tip about staying away from glare and making sure you have good lighting that isn't to harsh or to soft. Also the tip about staying the right distance away from your focal point is a tip that i will take into consideration when taking my pictures.
Which tips dont you understand and want to learn more about?
The tip that i didn't really understand and want to learn more about was to avoid shallow depth of field. I understand that you dont want to be to far away or to close to your object and you want your focal point to be sharp but i just dont understand how to stay away from shooting in shallow depth of field or how you know if you are shooting in shallow depth of field.

I found the tip about using auto focus most useful. I am planning on using this tip.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
I didn't understand the tip about using a wide angle lens, I think this could create a different look in the photograph that wouldn't necessarily be bad.
I understood the part about knowing what we need to photograph before we do it because some objects display more texture than others
I did not understand about the focal point because with a patter it is gonna be hard to have a focal point with so much repetition.

The tips I found most useful were 'choose the best possible angle', 'shoot at the right distance', and 'getting the right exposure', these are the tips that I find most helpful, but also the tips I will use when I take my photos.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
I don't understand the tip, 'setting the shutter speed', because it confuses me why the shutter speed would matter in still photos.
Which tips did you find most useful and which tips will you use to take your texture photos?
- The tip that I find most useful is the tip that recommends that you should shoot from the most complementary angle. I think that that's important.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
- I don't really understand the tip that says use a remote when you can just look through the camera if it is set up or if you are holding it. I don't see the point in it unless you are in the photo.
Which tips did you find most useful and which tips will you use to take your texture photos?
- The most useful tip for me that applies to past photos I've took before is the "right exposure" one, along with "shooting at the right distance" that was the most influential one that I will use in future photos to improve them
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
- The tip i least understood what the "using a remote" one, overall this isn't a shooting assignment where you need to be away from the camera at all, just holding in and snapping photos is good enough, no need to use a remote
Which tips did you find the most useful and will use to take your texture photos?

Which tips did you find the most useful and will use to take your texture photos?
-I really focused on trying to get a new perspective on pattern and texture, so most of all I followed the angles and distance tips the most. "Getting the Right Exposure" was difficult just because of my timing, but in the end it was one of those tips that payed off and really made my photos.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
-I understand what the tip was trying to say when it said "Avoid Shadows, Glare, and Reflection" but what I don't understand is how someone would go about doing that. In the picture they display for that tip, there were strange tools I had never seen before and would have literally no idea where to start with them.

One tip I didn't understand was the one about the remote, I don't think it relates to me for this type of photography.
I think all tips are useful because its the fundamental of taking amazing pictures.
I dont understand the use of the remote. I dont think anyone is using the very old cameras that needs a remote so Im not really sure why you would need it.
Which tips did you find most useful and which tips will you use to take your texture photos?
I think the most useful tip is to shoot at the right Exposure. It makes photos look 10x more alive and real. If you're shooting too low, or too high, it'll look dead.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
Setting the shutter speed has always been confusing for me and it's for sure a hard task. I'm not very experienced with using shutter speed and would love to become a lot better with it!
@Nikki B I'm on the same page as you, it doesn't make much sense, in using remotes in photography
@Isabel V I agree, that taking photos at good angles can boost the quality tremendously.

I found the tips regarding the tripod and remote, to take clearer photos of the texture, helpful because I think it's important for the viewer of my photo, so be able to experience the texture, and/or the pattern.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
I don't understand the tip about exposure because I'm not really sure how to change the exposure on my camera, and I also want to learn more about shooting in RAW, because I don't know what that means.

I want to learn more about shooting In RAW and how it affects the photo overall. How would this camera setting positively and negatively affect the quality of my photos?

I agree with you about the shooting in RAW. I like the interesting point you bring up about shooting objects at a wide angle to focus the texture and enhance the subject content.
@Reagan Lewis
I agree with you about not knowing how to use my personal camera to it's full ability. Learning about the different settings and buttons may help to improve my photography process and the quality of the shots.
Which tips did you find most useful and which tips will you use to take your texture photos?
- I think a really useful tip to take textured photos is to use auto-focus because some beginning photographers might not understand all the components on a camera so using auto will benefit the photo instead of the photographer struggling with the camera's setting.
Which tips don't you understand and want to learn more about?
- Setting the shutter speed is something I want to learn more about, especially when it involves aperture. Along with the camera, it might be difficult to set up without messing other settings up as well.
